Laura Cirillo

Laura founded Talent Direct after over 20 years working within traditional recruitment models.

She has supported organisations across a wide range of sectors - from growing SMEs and NFPs to established professional service firms - helping them hire for roles spanning finance, HR, marketing, legal, operations and leadership positions.

These organisations were at different stages of growth: early teams building internal capability, expanding businesses scaling quickly, and established organisations navigating key leadership hires.

Over time, Laura saw a consistent pattern:

  • The traditional recruitment model created unnecessary strain.
  • Fees were linked to salary, not management scope.
  • Shortlists prioritised speed over context.
